Impressionist oil on canvas painting by Randall Vernon Davey has an icy blue hue over the cityscape scene. Quick impasto strokes abstracts the details of figures standing in the foreground around towering trees, with buildings in the distance. Framed in a complementary blue, signed in corner.
About the Artist:
Randall Vernon Davey (1887-1964) was a multi-faceted artist proficient in murals, painting, printmaking, and sculpting.
