ROBERT BRUBAKER (1921-2011) “Deer in the Snow” Original Oil on Canvas

This original oil on canvas painting by Ohio artist Robert Brubaker (1921-2011) is beautifully and masterfully rendered to depict two deer standing in a snowy wood, the warm setting sun casting tones of ginger orange against the sky. A local artist and teacher who served in World War II, Brubaker exhibited regularly and was heavily involved with the Greenville, Ohio Art Guild, where he conducted painting and drawing classes. Housed in a whitewashed wood frame, this original painting is signed by the artist in the lower right hand corner of the canvas.
