Large ceramic sculpture by Mexican artist Sergio Bustamante (1947-) depicts a triad of penguins emerging from a large egg. A charming work full of whimsy and humor ever prevalent in Bustamante’s repertoire, this sculpture is housed in a display box with a mirrored bottom pane and displays Bustamante’s signature prevalently on the side of the sculpture. It appears the beak on the top penguin has been repaired from the previous owner.
