He later served as adjunct faculty at OSU, as well as a member of the Ohio Watercolor Society and the Central Ohio Watercolor Society.

JEANNE ISENHART(1920-2005) Original Oil on Canvas “African Violets”

Isenhart spent a large portion of her adult career as an interior designer before turning to painting at the age of 60. Described as creating “refined primitive” oil paintings, she created over 600 works of art. Collections of her work include that of the Ohio State House and the Ohio Governor’s Mansion. Isenhart exhibited her work largely in the Midwest and in New York City. She died at 85 in 2005 at the age of 85 in Newark, Ohio.

She has held solo exhibitions at The Ohio State University, College of Eastern Utah, LaGrange College, and is included in many private collections. Dougherty's work is held in twenty two corporate collections such as Columbus City Hall to National Art Service in Houston, Texas.
