WAYNE ENSRUD (1934-) “Willi’s Wine Bar” Poster

This poster by American artist and designer Wayne Ensrud (1934-) originally served as an advertisement for Willi’s Wine Bar, a legendary haunt located in Paris, France. A master of several art movements, including realism, constructivism, and expressionism, Ensrud’s advertisement depicts a martini glass in wild splatters of red, yellow, and green, framed by an enveloping background rich blue. Framed in a matching, lithe blue frame, this poster is unsigned, but denoted as being crafted in England, dated to 1989.
