After VICTOR ROUSSEAU (1865-1954) “Le Veillée du Forgeron” Spelter Table Lamp
SOLD
This spelter table lamp is modeled after an original bronze by Belgian sculptor Victor Rousseau (1865-1954) and depicts a blacksmith hard at work within a powerful forge. Titled “The Blacksmith’s Vigil”, this sculptural lamp is mounted on a base of green marble and has been affixed with interior lights, allowing the forge to emit a warm, romantic glow. This rare lamp is still in good working condition, but is in need of rewiring to maintain its powerful luminance and aesthetic.
