About the Artist:
Alexander Ney (1939-) is a Russian-born American artist best known for his unique take on clay and terracotta sculpture. Ney emigrated to the United States in 1974 with the encouragement of Elaine de Kooning and currently resides and works in New York City where he is a regular staple amongst the gallery and museum circuit.
