ANTOINETTE SAVAGE “Sweet Pea” Doll Sculpture

This original sculpture by Columbus-based artist Antoinette Savage depicts a large doll dressed in elegant flapper clothing, its tall, spindly limbs bending and looping with unnatural grace. Titled, “Sweet Pea” Savage names her dolls as they are created and strives to establish a connection with her viewers through the stories, colors, and fabric choices she utilizes with each doll’s construction. This unique, original sculpture is freestanding and has been signed, titled, and dated to August of 2018 via a label on the interior of the doll’s dress.
