GITA SADJADI “Eternity” Original Abstract Mixed Media on Canvas

This original painting on canvas by Columbus-based artist Gita Sadjadi depicts a highly abstracted field of scraped tones and colors, washed out with enveloping tones of pale white and rustic red. In this composition, Sadjadi has used a mixed medium of acrylic paint and sand to build a heavily textured surface to the painting, crafting a work of art that is almost as much sculpture as it is painting. Mounted on the original canvas stretcher bars, this sizable painting is signed by the artist in the upper left hand corner of the canvas.
