HIROSHI HAYAKAWA (1962-) “Nude” Liquid Photo Emulsion Print on Steel

SOLD

This liquid emulsion photographic print by Japanese-born, Columbus-based artist Hiroshi Hayakawa (1962-) depicts an exquisitely distressed portrait of a female nude crouched in a fetal position, her lithe form constrained by the circular composition of the image. A staple of the fine art scene of Columbus and a master of multiple mediums and materials, Hayakawa was educated at the Columbus College of Art and Design, where he now teaches photography while exhibiting his work internationally. This original photographic print is printed onto a steel plate and mounted in a circular wooden frame. Signed and dated to 1999 by the artist along the bottom edge of the frame.

This print on steel is amongst hundreds of pieces of art that are available at our location in Grandview! Come in today and see the full collection.
