Original pen and ink drawing by American graphic artist Jim McCrea (1920-2013) depicts an androgynous, muscular figure loosely clothed, composed of scribbles against the neutral background of the paper. McCrea often worked with his wife, Ruth McCrea (1921-2016), to compose moody and expressionistic graphic design work, including cover art for several Ernest Hemingway novel reprints. Framed in black, this original drawing is signed by the artist along the top of the paper.
