Newly framed, a signed mixed media artwork titled Jump Rope, by the late Robert M. Gatrell(1906-1982). Born in Marietta, Ohio, Gatrell is an alumni of The Ohio State University, where he found an education in art and later would serve on the faculty. Known for his portraits, he was widely exhibited throughout Ohio. An informational card is attached on the reverse.

JAMES YOKO (1916-2004) “Figure and Words” Original Mixed Media on Canvas
Dated vintage, this original mixed media on canvas by Ohio regionalist artist James Yoko (1916-2004) depicts a solitary female figure in an interior setting, collections of torn paper collage lingering in the background. A central figure within the Dayton, Ohio art scene, Yoko was a prolific artist throughout his lifetime and gifted over 700 paintings to the Dayton Art Institute upon his death in 2012, making his paintings now highly prized for their rarity. This painting is mounted on original stretcher bars and has been signed and dated to 1994 by the artist on the backside of the canvas.

This original mixed media painting on canvas by Canadian-born artist Casey McGlynn depicts a prominent elephant encompassed by a parade of birds and smaller pachyderms, the occasional bear or human figure sparsely punctuating the image. An avid drawer from childhood, McGlynn regularly incorporates animals into his work, using the various creatures of his pictorial vocabulary to create symbolic works of art that allow delight even on the barest of surface levels. This original painting is mounted in a floating wood frame and is signed, titled, and dated from 2007/2008 by the artist en verso.

Earning a Bachelor's of Science degree, Dougherty continued her education at The Ohio State University obtaining her Master's of Fine Arts. She has held solo exhibitions at The Ohio State University, College of Eastern Utah, LaGrange College, and is included in many private collections. Dougherty's work is held in twenty two corporate collections such as Columbus City Hall to National Art Service in Houston, Texas.
