Original watercolor on paper by American artist Vincent Murphy depicts a rural streetscape, industrial buildings lining the sparse sky illuminated by the setting sun. Hearkening back to the realist movement that dominated American art in the early half of the 20th century, this original watercolor is housed in a weathered gold and wood frame and is signed and dated to 1941 by the artist in the bottom of the right hand corner of the paper.
