Montague Burton was a tailor shop that grew in number in popularity, having around 300 shops at its height from 1900-1939. Suits were custom made to order per the customers specifications, requiring a deposit with the order and payment upon completion. This sign advertises that fact with classic style, using gold leaf lettering with a black border surrounded by opaque glass.
