This liquid emulsion photographic print by Japanese-born, Columbus-based artist Hiroshi Hayakawa (1962-) depicts an exquisitely distressed portrait of a female nude, her back to the viewer in a sensual display of intimacy and confidentiality. A staple of the fine art scene of Columbus and a master of multiple mediums and materials, Hayakawa was educated at the Columbus College of Art and Design, where he now teaches photography while exhibiting his work internationally. This original photographic print is printed onto a steel plate and mounted in a black wooden frame. Signed and dated to 2001 by the artist along the bottom right corner of the frame.
