SIMON MOSELSIO (1890-1963) Bronze Bust on Black Stone Base

Original bronze bust by Russian-born sculptor Simon Moselio (1890-1963) depicts the portrait of a female figure, her eyes downcast and head tilted to the side. This bust is treated with a beautiful, green patina and is sculpted to a modern styling that lends testimony to Moselio’s long tenure as an academic. Resting on a black stone base, this original sculpture is signed with Moselio’s cast signature on the reverse side of the bust.
